We’re excited to share a meaningful volunteer opportunity for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy students this summer and early fall in Hartford. Dr. Chinenye Anyanwu at UCONN is seeking pharmacist preceptors to support the Keney Park Summer Pop-Up Wellness Series, in collaboration with the UCONN CT Area Health Education Center Network (CT AHEC). Medical and dental students from CT AHEC will be offering blood pressure and blood glucose screenings. Pharmacy students will be on hand to provide education on key health topics.
Volunteers are welcome to sign up for one or more events. Pharmacy technicians are encouraged and welcome to join the team at any of the following dates:
