New England Pharmacists Well Being & Emotional Health Symposium - Burnout Prevention

The American Pharmacist Association and The Well-Being Index, invented by Mayo Clinic, are proud to partner in the fight against burnout with the creation of the Pharmacist Well-Being Index. The Well-Being Index provides Pharmacists with a way to anonymously assess their well-being and evaluate multiple dimensions of distress. Click the logo to the left to take the evaluation.

Nearly a half-century of research has described the issues and concerns associated with job stress, moral distress, work overload, burnout, and level of control within the pharmacy profession. The well-being and resilience of the pharmacist workforce must be effectively and efficiently addressed by all pharmacy stakeholders.

Continuing Education Credit

The Connecticut Pharmacists Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in attendance who complete an evaluation will receive up to 2.58 contact hours of CPE credit (0.258 CEUs). The ACPE numbers for these knowledge-based and application-based CE sessions are 0106-9999-21-063-L04-P/T, 0106-9999-21-064-L04-P/T and 0106-9999-21-073-L04-P/T. Statements of credit will be uploaded to CPE monitor on the NABP website, where you can print your credits for your profile. The deadline for completing the conference evaluations will be October 1.
